Second EQET SEE QA component Project management meeting

The second Project Management Meeting of the Quality Assurance (QA) component of the project Enhancing quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE took place in Bečići, Montenegro on 17 May 2022, back-to-back to the regional meeting for development of a regional standard of competences for external evaluators in pre-tertiary education.

The meeting was attended by the EQET SEE National Coordination Points (NCPs) from the seven participating economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia on behalf of project implementing partners, and members of the ERI SEE Secretariat as the lead partner, Ms Tina Šarić, ERI SEE Director,  and Ms Milica Grahovac, Sector Project Coordinator.

The second Project Management Meeting served to discuss the activity plan of the QA Component for the period from July to December 2022. Next regional activities: development of new, regional methodology for external evaluation and preparation of the questionnaire for trainings needs analysis for external evaluators, in line with newly elaborated standard of competences, were agreed on this occasion.

Following up the regional meeting for development of a regional standard of competences for external evaluators in pre-tertiary education, the national meetings for adjusting the regional standard of competences to national circumstances will take place in all seven economies in summer 2022, preceding the integration of the standard into the national QA systems in late 2022.

During the meeting other project management related questions were considered, such as design of first project intellectual outputs: Policy vision document: Guidelines and suggestions for optimizing (the impact of) external evaluation of institutions in the SEE and Republic of Moldova and Systems of Quality Assurance in Pre-tertiary Education in South Eastern Europe , as well as the proposal of the website of the project Enhancing quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE.
