The sixth Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE project management meeting within the VET component was organised on the margins of the Final Regional meeting for the consolidation and validation of the lockmith occupational standard on 02 February 2023, in Durrës, Albania, and online, by the ERI SEE Secretariat. The meeting gathered 12 participants, VET and qualification agencies, from six partner economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia and the ERI SEE Secretariat project team, Ms Tina Šarić, director of the ERI SEE Secretariat and the EQET SEE project manager and Ms Ivana Živadinović, Regional Project Coordinator.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming activities within the VET component of the EQET SEE project, first and foremost the timeline of activities in 2033, the regional meetings for the development of the second regionally based qualification standard, the development of the teaching and learngning material for the agricultural technitian and locksmith curriculum and the project management activities.

The next steps within the VET component will be the development of the locksmith regionally based qualification standard based on the methodology developed within the TO REGOS project. The regional meetings for the development of the second qualification standard are expected for the period April – May 2023. The national activities aiming at finalising the second occupational standard will be implemented in February 2023. The lead partner and implementing partners agreed to continue with regular project management and dissemination activities.
